Description: 
Shanks has almost always a long black cape over his shoulders and, until he met a good friend, wearing a straw hat obtained from his best friend from the past, who accompanied him for many years and became synonymous with his image. At first wore slightly loose brown trousers, cut below the knee and collected half of the calf, with gold buttons on the outside. He was recently seen in a pair of similar appearance, only more loose with Hawaiian motifs still in it. Always wears a pair of sandals and short but unkempt beard looks as if he had several days without shaving.


Personality: 
Shanks is one of the most relaxed people in the world, preferring to take his time to travel from one place to another instead of rushing in their raids. Cruelty is not among its characteristics as with other pirates, and rules his crew with fear to gain respect. His friendly nature shows that he does not seek to hurt other people, and is able to make serious people to join your party and entertainment. Notwithstanding naive it may seem at first glance, Shanks is a complex person who sometimes has difficulty assimilating other viewpoints.
Shanks does not seem to care much about what happens to him. You can ignore throw him food or drink to the face without even fight, laughing at the situation with his crew. Even the loss of his left arm did not seem to mind much. Yet he never forgive anyone who attacks his friends. It is against the idea of shedding blood for honor and only seen him start a fight if a friend is in danger.

Character history:

Shanks was a young orphan and weakling with a friend rather had a clown face, both were united and nothing between them. One day by chance and fell in a few subjects were found against criminals, these guys all wanted to kill them both, Shanks tried to defend his friend but could not but a man beat these guys, apparently these were ninjas of the village rain.

Then shortly after this guy started to care for Shanks and the other subject and became his apprentices, then began to train them both very hard. Even so were very weak until one day the teacher they had executed, Shanks and his friend clown face began to mourn, the friend of Shanks was separated from him and took his way after a friend I coach Shanks training continued until one day Shanks Shanks became a genin and gave a hat to Shanks that his best friend (this friend that I mean the train) had devoted as I remember him, another day met a guy Shanks with bravery and courage, Shanks reason to be a ninja, his name was Luffy, Luffy Shanks reminded him and his friend when young was when he gave the hat to Luffy after Luffy was then captured by bandits, the bandits knew invocations jutsu but were clumsy, but Shanks was a genin and their students, one of the beasts was going to kill Luffy with their claws and Shanks sacrifice and made a scar on his left eye and then the other was going to eat Luffy and Shanks sacrificed his right arm to defend Luffy and Shanks saber short these beasts were only summoning jutsu but even they were not good, then Shanks defeated the bandits who had a scroll to invoking invocation jutsus but very weak. By the next day said goodbye Shanks Luffy to continue their journey by himself.
