The Meeting

It was high noon when a lone figure trudged through the muck of the forest of death. Geez, I always hated this place, but it seems like it's better than nothing, Briallen said wiping off the slim from her boots. Since she was originally from the leaf village, she knew the forest of death like the back of her hand, and even so she had already mapped out the routes where it was less traveled, unfortunately those routes routes were filled with large marshes and uncut wildlife, which made traveling through them difficult, since she wore a short black miniskirt and a black tank top. Mosquitoes were buzzing around everywhere picking away at her sensitive skin, and it began to annoy her greatly. I really should've thought this through, she said as her feet sunk deeper into the marsh, with the stagnant body of water giving off an awful stench.


After escaping the marshes she decided to rest on the trunk of an old tree, dipping into her pockets she pulled out a map checking her coordinates, Hmm, i guess this place will do for a hideout for the time being, looking at the area around her she realized she was truly better off here as it had a fresh body of water, well not the best but it had to do, and it had things that look edible... She hoped. Exhausted she took off her boots and began massaging her own feet, in truth she hated this life but she had no other options, she needed answers and being stuck inside the village wouldn't get her any, she wasn't a fighter or a mischief maker so life as a missing ninja would be hard for her, but she had to solider on nonetheless. After her feet felt like they would move again she walked over to the river bank and tested the waters with her fingers. This should do i suppose, Briallen would then slowly take her clothes off and placed it somewhere dry and lowered her body slowly into the water, she hardly ever got a chance to relax so she took the opportunity to do so, hopefully there wouldn't be any unwanted guests.

Staz was training like usual, this time he was training in Sannin mode. " Sannin mode is the best! I can't wait to fight someone in this mode! " Staz was training but then sensed someone, " Who's that, I hope it's someone who is strong enough to fight with in Sannin mode. " Staz was slowly walking to the edge of his training area but wasn't paying attention and hit a tree. " Oww, I really gotta look at whats in front of me. " Staz got a tiny bruise on his forehead, so he lied down for a few minutes then got up again but he wasn't  using Sannin mode anymore he didn't want anyone to think he's a monster wolf.

Staz saw a figure moving slowly and then got a closer look and realized it wasn't a shinobi from a village.
Staz thought to himself if that's a civilian or a rogue ninja, Staz wasn't sure if he wanted to kill if the civilian or rogue. Staz got a kunai out to be ready if the person was looking for him and also threw a shuriken to show the person that someone was near. Staz was wondering if the person noticed the shuriken and then got a close look and realized it was a girl. " Hey you! What are you doing here? " Staz said with a loud noise and jumped near her.

A sigh would escape her lips as she heard the person call out to her, a part of her silently wished that the person was addressing someone else but she would only be fooling herself if she believed anyone else would be out here. She slowly turned in the water and rested her hands and head on the bank of the river. Who me? I'm just taking a bath, trying to relax, but that's ruined now, she said the last part under her breath so that the boy wouldn't hear, Briallen didn't want to upset the person since she didn't know what he was capable of since she was in a very dangerous situation, every offensive weapon, tool, and scroll she had were a couple feet away from her and not to mention she was naked. An eerie chill went down her spine as she began to tremble she didn't know whether it was out of fear or the cold water that she was submerged in, but she really was in a sticky situation.

Calming herself down, she decided to try and use her brain to get out of the situation. Her purple eyes scanned the boy from head to toe and then she would realize something they both had in common. I see you don't have a headband, either you've lost your way from your village or your a missing ninja , she said adjusting her glasses on the bridge of her nose, obviously the boy wasn't a village ninja which could turn out in her favor, she would probably be able to make friends with him, but he could probably have his own agenda. She slowly moved to the left of the river bank where her towel was and a thick growth of shrubbery was also there to hide her naked body. So tell me, why are you here?, She said hoping the boy would talk and avert his eyes so she could leave the water

Staz was didn't want to see perverted so he stepped a few feet back but looked confident. Staz felt stupid he couldn't see that she was taking a bath " I'm training, and don't look worried I'm not going to murder ya. So are you a rogue? " Staz was curious because she didn't seem the strongest but looked strong enough to be a ninja so could assume she is a rogue. " Sorry I stepped into you while you were taking a bath, I couldn't really see you from where I was from. So what brings you here? " Staz was wondering if she could be his partner, because he has a lot of things he wanted to do and could use someone to help him and be accompanied.

Staz put back his weapons and puffed his scroll into a safe place so she wouldn't think he's tricking her. Staz went a little closer to see if she had any weapons to fight him, Staz looked around and she didn't have any weapons. " Sorry I was looking around I just wanted to make sure you weren't going to attack me because that's happened to me a lot I have never had anyone to trust. " Staz had a small smile on his face because he finally could talk to someone normally.

A sigh of relief escaped her lips as the stranger turned out to be friendly for the time being. She would slowly raise her out of the water and went behind the shrubbery to dry herself off.  Well thankfully you aren't looking for a fight seeing that i wasn't in a position to fight, and yes i am a rogue ninja.I was just looking for a safe place to lay low and train for awhile, but seeing that you found me i guess that this place isn't so safe after all. Then again why i chose to seek refuge in the land where i was born and raised is beyond me, lapse of judgement i suppose  , Briallen spoke from behind the shrubbery as she used the towel to rid every corner and crevice of water on her body. The couple of minutes she had to herself was sweet bliss but she knew she was being careless as that could've been anyone that dropped in on her, luck was on her side. After drying off she slipped into her underwear and stepped out from behind the shrubbery and grabbed her clothes, she didn't like the idea of waltzing around in her underwear in front of a stranger but some things just can't be helped. She quickly put on all her clothes and her boots and began to brush her hair. I should probably get going, it's not safe for me to stick around her for too long, might get an unwanted visitor, she said while brushing her hair. In truth she wasn't worried about her safety, she was worried about not fulfilling her purpose in life, and the thought of that made her stomach turn.

" Yeah be careful, I've been attacked in the Forest of Death countless times keep your guard at all times. " Staz was a bit worried but he also wanted to see her strength but she didn't really want to fight so he decided to ask. " I know you're leaving and all but would you quickly spar with me? " Staz just wanted to see what she was capable of and if he should ask her to be his partner. Staz was grabbing his kunai secretly so if she was going to say yes he was ready instantly. Staz wouldn't mind if she was weak as long she isn't too weak then he would ask her to be his partner.

Joben was out and about searching through the forest of pain. It had been at least an hour since he started his search and so far he had no results. But apparently it was super important to find out if there were people out here. He hated missions like this but the fact that he was getting paid was enough to keep him on task. He was about ready to give up on his search when he heard a few noises in the distance. In honesty he had been hearing it off an on for the past few minutes but as he got closer it sounder more and more like muffled voices.

His search had finally come up with results as there were in fact two people out in the forest. Joben dropped down low and slowed his movements being careful not to make a sound as he neared the voices. He finally was nearing the edge of a small clearing, where he could make out the figures of two people, through the gaps in the brush. One was younger and much shorter female while the other was a man and if Joben had to guess they were around the same age. These two were no doubt the cause of all the suspicion. Alas there may be a way to resolve this peacefully and if anything were to go wrong Joben could always just zap himself back to the village. Joben stepped out of the bush and into the clearing now able to see the two quite clearly.

"Well now you two are causing quite the ruckus I hear."

"Maybe coming back here was a mistake" She thought as she slowly brushed out her hair, Konoha was known for its quick eradication of shinobi who left their village and her she was, in the forest of death with another rogue shinobi from god knows where and who knows who was after him. A sigh escaped her lips as this kind of irrational thinking was not like her at all and she need to be a lot more cautious. "Yeah thanks, you keep safe too". Brianna quickly packed up everything she owned into her back and tried to walk away before anything happened. Well it was too late. "A spar? Umm, not right now, i really should be get going i don't think its best for us to stick around her too long", as the words left her lips someone else entered the area.

Brianna eyed the newcomer from head to toe and judging from the headband he wore and the words he spoke, he wasn't an ally. Causing a rukus? I don't think taking a bath and trying to relax is causing a rukus, so i believe your mistaking us for someone else. Also your a bit far away from your village, konoha shinobi so i guess this was no accidental meeting, what a pain, She gripped the handle of her bag tightly and took a step back as her worst fears came to reality, she had to fight, and this time she had no say in the matter, logically thinking for a single shinobi to approach two rogue ninja he must be really powerful or really stupid, either way she had no other choice but to fight, if he was proven to be hostile that is.

Hey, I'm Briallen, what's your name?, she said addressing the boy without taking her eyes off the the leaf ninja. I'm guessing your gonna get your spar after all, but it wont be with me, sorry if i won't be of any help, I'm not a fighter you see, but ill do my best. Today will be a long day

" Finally someone to fight, and this battle will make my impression on you and I wont try that much I wanna see you're strength and I know you're a Uchiha so you have that power. Good luck. Staz twisted his head and stretched his arms out, and got in a fighting pose. " Oi! You Konoha shinobi what rank are you? Whatever you are you better be tough! " Staz got out his kunai but also stepped a feet back and dug his feet into the ground. Staz was ready to jump out of the ground and attack the Konoha shinobi but he wanted to see which one of us his gonna attack first. " By the way I wont let you die so early I need to ask you something after the fight. " Staz knew she wasn't the best fighter but wanted to know if she is still useful.

Staz quicky puffed out and wanted to get his scroll just in case because the enemy might be stronger then he thinks and when he got the scroll he hid it behind him so only Briallen could see it. Then he quickly jumped out of the way and got hidden and hid the scroll in a near and safe place. Staz saw the Konoha shinobi had a curious look on his face. " Why don't you just get out of here and leave us alone we didn't cause any trouble. " Staz lifted his weight off of his feet so he could get a good spring when he attacks.

Staz had a thought that the Konoha shinobi was a Jounin looking at his height. Staz knew he would be about strong as him but Staz was confident he was gonna win. Staz threw a few shuriken right before his feet so he could think that he has bad aim and the Konoha shinobi would have a wrong impression on his but Staz wasn't sure if that plan was going to work, so he just waited the fight to plan itself out.

While the girl was quite smooth and quick with her words the other man was not and ruined any chance they had of getting away without conflict. It was shame, it would have been simple enough for Joben to report two intruders and then let the anbu squad track them but in all honesty that wouldn't be any fun either. The man continued to threaten him after babbling on to the girl about something... Then the word Uchiha was dropped. You didn't see one of the major clan let a member go rogue very often. The man babbled on some more with empty threats and then out of the blue changed his mind and asked him to leave, it was very confusing.

"Maybe I could of left but you decided to threaten me which isn't very nice... And you called her an Uchiha... Interesting. Apparently im not the only one a long ways from home."

The man very obviously threw a shuriken at him, Joben wasn't sure if he just had terrible aim or if he did it on purpose the Shuriken landed behind him and with a soft thud.

"See how do you expect me to leave when you keep doing things like that, very contradictory of yourself."

Joben wasn't quite sure what to make of the rogue, he was either very stupid and had no idea what he was doing or... no that seemed like the only logical choice. He wasn't quite sure about the girl yet, it was somewhat obvious if not already reassured that she wasn't a solid fighter based off her appearance and the talking the two had done. While fighting two people would definitely be more fun its almost too much of a hassle. He wasn't quite sure how this was going to turn out.

Briallen sighed as the boy who seemed to know who she was, probably screwed over her only chance escape alive. She would sigh as she tried to figure out what would be her next move. Pushing up the glasses with the bridge of her finger she decided to do absolutely nothing. A bold tactic which might lead to two things, her getting away or her being killed, her stomach turned at the thought of the latter but she had to put on a brave face, for now at least, she had to make it to Sunagakure so dying her was not an option. She watched as both men exchanged words and took a slight step back hoping they would kick it off so she could escape during the brawl. I hope this works. She muttered to herself
